This stone sleeper was still intact at the end of 2002 having recently been part of a boundary wall. No doubt many other relics survive in the area.
One resident of the village has recognised the heritage of the tramroad by naming their bungalow “TREVETHICK”. Pity that the name has been mis-spelt but that is also the case with Trevethick Street in Merthyr

Further section through Merthyr Vale to be added.
